“Lifetime was a lifesaver and seeing how they went above and beyond for me, I feel an equally amazing review is the least I can do.

The TLDR backstory: I have a 4 ton Rheem heat pump unit that has been nothing but problems over the first 5 years. From sensors, fan motors, and reversing valves, this thing was a frankenstien unit. All parts were covered under warranty, but I was getting the feeling this unit was just a lemon. The last straw was that the condenser finally failed and this is where Lifetime really stepped up.

I had a month left on my 5 year warranty and I wasn’t feeling great about A) having to replace this critical component this early in the units lifetime and B) the cost to evac, replace, and recharge was just about as much as a new unit! Lifetime got on the phone and relentlessly tried to get a Rheem Rep to deem the unit bogus and replace the whole thing. Lifetime also did a great job cutting and weighing all my options from a HVAC perspective and from my wallet’s perspective. They recommended a new unit, as replacing the compresson didn’t eliminate the possibility of this unit dying a week later with another problem. Rheem stepped up as well and replaced the unit and Lifetime did a great job with the install.

Shout out to Rudy for chasing Rheem down and putting together options for me, Allie for coordinating, and Nate + Derrick for doing the hard work of the install and identifying the problem.

As an additional note, they also made right a repair that took two visits and was a misdiagnosis between temp sensor vs. temp sensor board and only charged the board replacement. The point is, they made it right without question or a battle and earned my business for life(time)! It would have been easier to just tell me to take a hike and it is what it is, but they didn’t and they did the right thing as a business and was rewarded with a reinstall and my future maintenance needs!”
